The difference between a regular iPod and an iPod shuffle is that a regular iPod has a screen, so you can choose what songs, videos, or games you want to view, along with other features like alarms, clocks, calendars, photos, and even phonebooks; and an iPod shuffle, there is no screen, and you can’t choose the exact songs you want to play, it mixes it up, hence the name a “shuffle”, but you can skip over songs as well. As for an eleven year old, because a regular iPod is expensive, a shuffle would be great too.

Nano Ipods are usually the best. A shuffle Ipod doesn’t have the same artistry as a Nano, like allowing to see what is playing and all. You can watch more stuff on Nanos.
Yea I think its a good idea. Ipod shuffle is just music or Audio. Other ipods can play video. They are a very good gift they will always be using it. Also if they are too expensive u could get older generations of ipod shuffles on ebay that are still new inbox.

a lot of people are saying shuffle because shes only 11. if your looking for satisfaction from her… (im sure she’ll be VERY greatful no matter what, as would i) … get a regular ipod. the regular has so much more you can do with it and it is well worth the money. ive had mine for over 3 years and it works great (: i hope she has a fabulous birthday and loves her gift!!
