How do you transfer photos from your ipod to your pc for free?

I have a bunch of pictures on my ipod that were put there from my old computer, but it crashed this summer. I was wondering if there is a way to get the photos off of my ipod and on to my new computer without deleting them. I tried copyTrans photo, and it worked really well except there was a big logo on every picture. Is there anything that i can download to get clear photos off my ipod for free?

How do I synch photos onto my iPod nano without replacing all of the existing photos?

How can I delete songs or albums off of my ipod library without deleting them off my ipod? Is that possible?

How can I share music with another Ipod but keep podcasts completely separate?

He will download a lot of music and wants nothing to do with my podcasts. We already maintain separate user accounts on our PC, but somehow when he connects his iPod into iTunes it downloads all my podcasts. How on earth do we manage separate podcast libraries but share music?

How do I get my old songs back on my ipod?
